So I replaced my fog lights with LED bulbs and the passenger side got a mist of water inside it (after driving in the rain).

So I pulled the bulb and dryed the inside (no easy feat). I then re-seated the bulb making sure that it was tight. Had no rain for the last couple of days and everything is good.

Now I just gave my EX a quick wash and there's a mist in the housing again. So I'm thinking it's leaking from the front.

Do you think I could use a simple clear silicone adhesive around the outside edge of the glass (or plastic) while it's still mounted to hopefully seal it up? I'm not sure what material the clear part is and I do t want to use anything that's harmful.

Or is there a better solution?

Thanks.

Mike

I had the same issue with my 14 Limited. I ended up taking the fog light out and splitting it to reseal the glass to the plastic housing. It's been good since.
