Leaking Fuel Return Line?

I'm hoping someone can help. I have a 91 Explorer and the truck runs great, no hesitation or loss of power. However, every once in a while when I first start it, fuel comes out of the FPR return line (the line on the top of the FPR). I'm trying to figure out if it's a bad FPR or something else? It's strange, the truck runs great weather it leaks or not. I'm no expert on fuel systems, but it makes sense that the fuel pump is constant and any excess fuel just returns back to the tank, meaning there is little to no pressure. Could it just be a flaky seal on the return line? The return line is the slip on type. TIA!
