leaking oil pump??

ok, so i have a pretty bad oil leak from the front of the engine, right above the filter on my 4.6. from what i can understand, this is where the oil pump is? or what could be causing the leak if it isnt the oil pump. please dont flame me if this has been asked a hundred times, i did a search and came up with nothing. i am changing out the starter this week and can try to get some pics if that will help. it has been leaking for a while now, the wife forgot to mention it to me that it is leaking all over the place when she got her oil changed.

Do a search for "oil filter adapter housing gasket" and read through the threads. I just did mine a few months ago and it's a common problem. It's not too difficult to do yourself. Cheap too. Just oil and a $12 gasket.
