Leaking servo bore fix w/o trans removal or boring

I am having issues with my 02 explorer, and have pretty much narrowed it down to being the servo bores being worn. I was wondering if anyone has seen this fix before, or what your thoughts on it might be. Here is a link to a fix I found on ebay. It looks like it could work I guess, I just wish it wasnt $200 to try it.

I saw that before. It appears to be a good idea if the bores were just resleeved or the transmission is new. I don't know how well it will work on egg shaped irregular bores. You could try it, and let us know. Do you have a P0775 code?

All he is doing is machining O-Ring grooves in the shaft.

Listing says he has sold three but no one has commented back. Worth filing away. I could mill a slot if I had to.

The groove has to be completely even all around the shaft, so you might need a lathe.
