I was washing my truck yesterday and noticed that some water droplets had made their way inside the windshield on the drivers side. I looked and there is a gutter that runs right up to the windshield, and where it does, the weatherstrip doesn't seal the gutter closed. There is a space the width of the gutter and just as deep that is open. I lifted the rubber seal up and there is a small foam square, but nothing else.
I live in MA and my biggest worry is for water to get in there and then freeze causing all kinds of problems. Has anyone noticed this? I visited a dealership yesterday and all had the gap so it isn't an isolated mistake on my Sport (no trac). I filled the gaps with black silicone for the time being. I'm curious to see what your experiences have been.
