- 94 E.B. Explorer
Hey everyone. I'm new to this site. I was referred by someone on cardomain.com
I bought a 1994 Ford Explorer Eddie Bauer edition this summer to drive in the winter. It has 179,000 miles on it and most of the parts are original from the looks of it. I got it for about a 1/3rd of the blue book price, but it has some kinks that need to be worked out. That's pretty much why I'm here. I'm not an expert at cars or anything, but have learned a lot by just going out there and trying to do something myself. I ask my father for advice a lot, and lately his answers to my questions are "I don't know", or something of the sort.
So yea, I'm here to post some questions and get several answers back to what my explorer's problem(s) may be.
Oh, and my friend named the explorer for me... It's name is Danny... Danny the Explorer. Cheesy, I know... but it's funny since it kind of sounds like "Dora The Explorer"...a kid's tv show.
I'm a student at Michigan Tech majoring in Mechanical Engineering. So things get busy and I often don't have time to tinker with the explorer for hours on end trying to diagnose it, and I definately can't afford to take it to a shop.
That's all, just wanted to introduce myself.
