I replaced mine with no problems with the computer, they aren't as bright as I hoped.....

same one I ordered or not because supposedly the ones I ordered are the brightest by far.

Thats good to know that I wont need a resister like I need for my HIDs. I just hit the reset button now. But if I can convert the other bulbs to LEDs and wont get an error message for it Im going to go ahead and knock that project out.

Manny, I was checking out the link earlier and was seeing pictures of some bulbs with resisters built into the base. That would explain no error on the dash.

Ahh I will be sure to look for those bulbs when I order them for my truck. Thanks.

I just hate how computerized vehicles are coming. My 94 Mustang GT and 03 Police Interceptor when I switched to HIDs didnt throw an annoying error message in the message center. I dont need a computer to tell me to check my bulbs as a motorist I should know when they are out and if I cant tell then I dont need to be driving. lol. But for now I will just hit the reset button and make sure I get bulbs with built in resisters.

Does anyone have pictures of their Explorer with these bulbs?

I'll take some pictures tonight, I think my bulbs are the same as yours (they looks the same) but I don't remember the brand name... The bulbs are bright they just don't project like I hoped they would.

ok that would be great to see some pictures. do you think there brighter than stock and thanks in advance for pictures.

These are the ones I have

Which look like this...

I'm not all that impressed with them and I'll probably get brighter ones.

Maybe it's just the picture, but those look pretty good.

I couldn't get my camera to work last night, the pic posted above seems like they are brighter than mine. It's not a bad mod but I didn't get a dramatic improvement like I thought I would

Sorry the pics are crappy, the tan light is from my garage door light.... head on the LED's seem bright but their ability to flood the area behind the vehicle is lacking.... the pic posted earlier in the thread shows brighter LED's. Maybe mine just suck.

I see what you mean. I almost wouldn't want to get them because it seems like they blind other people, but maybe it just looks worse in the pictures.

The camera is a little deceiving, they aren't really blinding but they do overexpose the lens on my iphone..... The other pic posted in the thread shows better, I don't have the same brand and based on that pic those bulbs look brighter. I have found that just because the bulb has more LEDs doesn't mean it's brighter. I have an LED flashlight with one single LED and it is 320 lumens which is 20x brighter than the reverse bulbs in my EX now.
