So I converted all my lights on my 96 XLT to LED. I used white LED bulbs for the stop/rear lights. I have new lenses & they looks great. I was originally contemplating red LEDs instead. But figured the white would shine better through the lenses. Anyone have any input on which is brighter? Red or white? I honestly thought they be more bright.

Did you know that the color of your LED bulb can affect the performance, quality and intensity of light output on your vehicle? See the chart below to ensure the brightest light output is coming through your vehicle lens. A red bulb behind a red lens, a white bulb behind a clear lens, an amber bulb behind an amber lens, and in some applications an amber bulb behind a clear lens.
