We got a drizzle last night, and then it got cold so the car was covered in ice when I left for work at 5:30-ish this morning.

I had to whack the door to get it to open.. I don't now how you people where it is really cold do this..

I even had to dig out my ice scraper.. and my wipers were stuck until the defroster ran a bit..

really weird.. as I was wearing shorts 2 days ago...

I am honestly a little upset about it. I want some snow! We have had weather in the 0 degree range but nothing else.

In case you cannot tell, I had to dig my nuts out of the snow --
I left them out for the squirrels but they must have been distracted by a human.

I would say we got about 6". It died off so we went out to the country trying to find a non traveled road. Here is my contribution to this thread

About 1 mile west of town we scared up a huge number of mallards and snow geese

It's a one lane bridge. I understand it's over 100 years old,

We spent about 45 minutes or so driving around and headed home.

Awesome shots Jon. I did the same thing yesterday - out driving/trying to get stuck. Couldn't do it, but had a BLAST. And some dude in the parking lot where that photo was taken told me my rig was awesome. Haha.

This went from fun to "disaster" really quick. The ice has TRASHED eastern PA. Trees, wires, limbs down everywhere, roads closed, etc. Upwards of a half million without power, 80-90% of entire counties, and our power guys are saying it's possible that there will be no power until the weekend.
