Back when I bought my Torque Monster Headers, Bob (Rcpasq) very kindly included a nice, bigger oil filter. It is a Wix 551087. He posted the information here:

I went to my local NAPA store to buy one of these filters, but found it to be 3x higher than a FL820S. They were $13 each if I bought a case of 12.

So, that led me to Google the Wix part number and I found these two pages.

This one is an excellent page showing pictures of disassembled filters and has technical specifications for the filters:

This one shows part numbers for Wix alternatives:

I have a local source for Baldwin filters, I am going to check the price of the Baldwin B281. There is a Carquest nearby if the baldwin one is too expensive.

The extra filtration of the longer filter would be nice, but not at the 3x price.

Does anybody use alternative filters?

I'm happy with the factory FL820S and regular oil changes.
