Id like to put 15s,maybe 31.10.50s under my aerostar, lift it some,I live in Central Oregon, and Adventure van is the plan for our wolverwagon..any tips,Ideas,I own a set of 15x10 rims, these too big?.its a 2wd.

The tires I put on my rwd van are 9.65 inches wide and I had to let the tires self clearance to fit the front. The rear wheel wells have more room than the front but a 29 inch tall tire is the most I've seen fit without cutting the body.

I know this is aged but I just got my Aerostar 4x4, and I just slapped 16" OEM aluminum rims from an Explorer on it with 225/60/16 studded snows. No lift and no rubbing or scuffing on this otherwise stock vehicle. They are something like 7/10" greater OD than the factory 14" wheels. It looks and rides so much better.

It was about $250 cheaper to buy 16" alloy OEM rims from the wrecking yard ($125/set) to use my Lexus snow tires on then to just buy a set of studded snows to fit the 14" steelies.
