I'm planning on doing a 3" body lift and 4" suspension lift as soon as funds allow, body lift will probably be first.

What I want to know is, how do you get the front and rear bumpers to sit level after raising the body? does the lift kit come with brackets or something to make them sit level?

when doing the suspension lift would i need to crank the torsion bar to lift the front end or does the kit come with specific parts to raise the suspension?

sorry if i sound a bit dumb... but there's not really any info here in the uk

it's a 97 uk spec Explorer 4x4 by the way,

Cheers

Si

G’daty mate!

1. For the BL you have to modify the bumper brackets because the kit is for a ranger.

2. When doing the suspension lift you don’t need to crank the torsion bars if you don’t want to. Some guys want a little more lift so they do crank the torsion bars. Yes the kit comes with all the necessary hardware to do the lift 4".

right, ok, cool.. can you tell me how I would go about modifying the brackets??

I don't have a clue

one more dumb question... do you have to extend the filler neck for the petrol tank? or will that be ok?
