Depends what you mean by lift kit. If you're talking about a body lift, then see the post above. If you mean a suspension lift, then it won't affect the grille guard.

Roughly $2000 for a Superlift 4" kit plus install although it looks like 4 Wheel Parts has them on sale right now with the $2000 price crossed out. They also recommend their front driveshaft which is an extra $400 or so.

It did ask me for a build date on an '02 of either before or after 03/04/2002.

For a suspension lift kit there are exactly two options, the Superlift for $2k or the Dixon Bros. coil-over long travel desert race setup for about double that.
