I have a 98 sport and want to lift it as well. I was looking at the Moab pictures and saw a purple sport with (I think) 35. It looked increadable. Whos truck is that and what did he do to his suspension?

The 98 Sport you saw was most likely TC's. His is one of the featured Explorers on the main page. If I recall correctly, he modified a lift kit designed for a 98 Ranger. As far as I know, Trailmaster's kit still isn't on the market, so those of us with later model Explorers either have to get creative or be patient.

Hey guys, if you want to lift your truck try call Off Road Warehouse at 800-341-7757 and ask for Mark. Tell him you've got a 95+ Explorer and you want the Performance Accessories 3" Ranger Body Lift Kit. This is different from the suspension lift from Trailmaster. This will lift the body off the frame 3". You will need to have the rear bumper relocation backets custom fabricated because the ones in the kit don't work. Also, some of the bolts will be too long. You will need to get shorter bolts or space them out with washers. The kit will work, and you'll love the results!

'97 Sport 5.5" Lift

I have a '97 Sport with a 5.5" lift. I just picked it up from a custome Shop. See my thread:

You just need to get on the phone and find a custom shop nearby that may have done this in the past, and also be willing to spend some serious cash, especially if your truck is a 95-97.

Good luck!!

Hey Juan, checked out the pic of your Explorer. Looks sweet. How's it ride? Any handling kinks? Driveline vibes? Also, what shocks did they use on it?
