I have searched through the forums and found several threads outlining possible/proposed lift combinations for Explorers. The one I have not seen asked about is a 2" TT combined with a 4" Superlift in front and a Rear Axle Flip.

Possible issues-
Lack of rear suspension travel caused by stock rear springs.
Binding of front drive shaft (must have modification to fix).
Dragging of Torsion Bar Mounting brackets (Skid Plate fix... Manufacturers?)
Will the 6" in front equal out with the rear axle flip?

Any input is graciously accepted.

For the money you're gonna spend on the Superlift and repeatedly having to re-align the frontend, go through tire, balljoits, hub bearings assemblies, etc..

It' be way cheaper and easier in the short and long run to do a Solid Axle Swap if you wanna do the Spring Over Axle for the rear.

Check out the offroad section, dozens suspension design and hundreds of threads about all different lift options.
