I have a 91 EB and I thought about moving my rear axle it is on top of my leaf springs to the bottom. I measured my leaf springs and the thickness of my axle and it was about five and a half inchs. If i do this well it give me five and a half inch lift?

Yes, it is 5.5 inches when you do the SOA. For the front, you can get the Superlift 5.5 inch lift. This is what most people use on their lifted Explorers.

I have a great deal on a set of 3 inch springs for the front. That would be too big of a difference wouldn't it.
The back lifted 5 1/2 and the front 3.
