ENGLISHLION
THE 6 INCHS OF LIFT AND TIRES AND SHOCKS COST $2,000. $600 FOR A CUSTOM 3 INCHS BODY LIFT. $600 FOR 3 INCHS OF SUSPENSION LIFT. TIRES WERE $125 EACH AND THE SHOCKS WERE $40 EACH. AND THE SHACKLES WERE $50 FOR BOTH SIDES.

i kno this is gonna sound very stupid.. and is also a very stupid question to ask.. but the spindles.. u said $500 for both sides.. now is that for the front or back or all-in-all?
'cuz i've talked to lift shops around my area and all say that it's impossible to lift an explorer due to its "uni-body" design... now is that true for all ? or just mine since i have an x-sport?
any help would be much appreciated

GI JOE
What gears do you have?
Would the 12.5 tires fit with trimming?
I have the spindle lift and plan on doing a body lift soon. I was also thinking of putting some 33x12.f bfgs on the stock rims.
Thanks

Cool, thanks. I will check into that. Did you get the pro comp spindles? I heard that those hold up better than fabtech.

ALDOUSE
THAT WAS FOR THE FRONT ONLY THE BACK COST ANOTHER $70.
WHAT THEIR TALKING ABOUT IS BODY LIFTS BECAUSE SOME EXPLORERS HAVE UNI BODYS AND CAN NOT BE LIFTED USING A BODY LIFT.
AND NO ITS NOT TRUE FOR ALL BECAUSE MY EXPLORER HAS A BODY LIFT ON IT.
BUT YOU SHOULD BE ABLE TO LIFT THE SUSPENSION OF YOUR EXPLORER AND MAY BE THE BODY.

ZMAN
I HAVE THE STOCK GEARS IN MY EXPLORER.
YES WITH A LITTLE TRIMMING 12.50 WILL FIT.

EXPLORERGRL
