Anyone have experience mounting lights to the inside of the trunk hatch? Looking for something where when I open the trunk I can have lights illuminate the ground. Could be like the attached picture or swivel lights mounted that could be adjusted. Additionally, would like to have a switch in the cargo area so I can turn them on/off and not have them connected to the main lighting system.

Hi Nick. Have you considered using 'stick-on' LED lights that most hardware stores carry? No need for cutting, drilling or wiring. Might take all of 5 minutes.

You could buy extra cargo lights that come installed in the rear cargo area already of the trunk area. You could run the positive and negative off the existing light to power the one or two lights you add to the rear hatch door.
