Lifting a 92 Explorer on a budget.

I welded spring rests on top of rear axle and installed rear axle underneath the rear leafs resulting in a 4" lift for the rear. As for the front i was thinking of installing f-150 coils in front . Has anyone done this before?

yes. they have, but that will only net you about 2 inches in the front, you will more then likely need bigger springs in the front as well to level it out.
