I have a problem with my instrument gauge lighting and climate control switch lighting also my rear running lights. My dash gauge lights and my rear running lights went out and they will not come on. My headlamps work, my brake lights work my turn signals work nothing else does. Any ideas

Are you certain that they all failed simultaneously?

Tackling one thing at a time, the instrument gauge and climate control back lighting runs through the interior light system, so you could use a multimeter to probe for power (12V) when they should be on. Is it manual climate control or EATC, automatic climate control?

A usual suspect for the interior lights including instrument panel is the dimmer module, the wheel on the dash to the left of the steering column, but if the exterior lights failed at the same time, it suggests it may be something upstream of the dimmer module, possibly fuse #11 in the under hood power distribution box or the park lamp relay.

The basic procedure is use a multimeter while looking at the wiring diagram, to check where 12V stops.

Rear parking lamps, could be the park relay, or a bad ground (though the brake lights and license plate lights seem to share same ground so if a bad ground, would be a broken or shorted wire between them), but again I'd use a multimeter to probe for where power stops.

There are wiring diagrams linked in my sig below, rear park lamps would be "exterior-lights-exterior-lamps-circuit" as attached, and I've attached the two, interior lights instrument illumination circuit diagrams merged into one to make it easier to follow.

Thank you for the fantastic information. Last night I pulled all the fuses connected to any lights. I did not see any broken. Today, ,,,, yes no#11 was broken. But burnt through the bottom side. Not the top like normal. Just saw a very little discolor. Super super easy to not see.
Thank you again

Glad it's working again, now the question is why the fuse blew and if it's going to happen again.
