I have a 1998 Explorer that came without the exterior lighted mirrors, I installed a set from a 2001 and everything fit perfect and the same connector connected fine to the existing one but no mirror lights? The mirror movement controls work fine as before, original mirrors had 3 wires and new ones have four, I figured the fourth is for the light on the mirror. Does anyone know if they did not come with exterior lights is the fourth wire missing to laminate the mirror mights or might it just be blown lights.
I know I can pull the harness and door apart again but I figured someone might know before taking everything apart again.
