I have an 03 centennial edition with a 4.6, AWD, and limited slip diff. When I make a turn, it acts like a locked rear, on gravel, one wheel drags on the gravel. We just had 4 inches of wet snow, and when I turn a corner, the rear slides uncontrollably. I don't think this is normal. Will a lube change with friction modifier fix this?

I don't know that, I have only owned the ex for two months now. Not an easy job to change the whole unit to a regular (non LS). I will try the lube change. The car sat outside for a long time, so much underneath is rusty. Thanks for the response.

I found a complete diff for a 03 expedition. Will it fit?

It's probably the transfer case viscous coupling.

That can lock the rear end? I think not.
