Okay, I have read here that the case is not a true Dana 35 in the front(95+) which means that none of the carriers from a Jeep Dana 35 will fit. I am not sure, never tearing apart the front, what about it doesn't fit. (side width? rubbing in the case?) I just take the word here from others who have tried.
So what about setting up a Dana 30 inside?
Axle shaft diameter should be the same.
Both are 27 spline.
Ring diameter is a problem of 7.2" vs 7.56".
Anyway just thinking out loud and wondering if anyone has the knowledge?
It sure would be great if some manufacture could build something that fit or hell, someone just cast a new front pumpkin that will hold the differential. (Like it's that easy)
