Locked keys in truck, does brute force keypad entry work?

I changed mine to my zip code....but I rarely lock it anyway

Bill

I use the last five digits of our phone number. Our Explorer is ofter the "spare" car, so we leave the keys in the console and use the keypad for access. I wish all my vehicles had a keypad - it would save keeping a Hide-a-Key box on each of them!!

Word of note: make it worth your while, we don't have a police dept. here in town, so we usually wait until morning before we call the constable, state trooper, or funeral director, whichever the case may be  ;) lol

Lol ok will do, you dont happen to have leather seats do you? If so what color? Dont worry ill leave you a couple buckets to sit on...The good plastic kind.. dont worry i got your back lol

Tan leather...torn seams no extra charge...broken drivers side recliner handle is in the console if you think you have time to grab it...don't bother with the buckets, I'm tall enough to drive from the back seat if need be

you don't need a Hide-A-Key. I just stick the spare key in the fuel filler opening. Hard to see, and easy to retrieve after taking off the filler cap. Cheap too.

Ok great! That was JUST what i was looking for..Ya iam tall enough to drive mine from the rear bumber..But i need seats anyways..Can you leave a bear in there for me? Ill need it after i take all the seats out. Also some gas money back would be good. Just leave it in the glove department..Thanks..

Interesting idea - I'll look at that possibility for my Navigator, which does not have a keypad. Won't work with most sedans, however, as the gas door covers lock on both of mine. Thanks.
