Lockout Issues on a 92 Explorer

My 4x4 works great but when i locked it in the other day the passenger side locked in, but now it just spins 360 degrees and cant unlock it unless i jack the front end up and swap hubs around. My question is can this be rebuilt or will i need to buy a complete set. It has the Mile Marker lockouts on it. Can i just get any good used set and put it on, or will i need to stick with Mile Markers as thats what the conversion was done on?

The conversion kit is the same for all manual hubs, so you can get whatever brand of manual hub you want. Just last fall I broke one of my Milemarker hubs and replaced it with a Warn.

well i ordered a new hub from a junk yard and they sent me the wrong one, but i was still able to get it working. The issue was the selector knob was stripped. I took it off and seen where it was broken and took the one off the good unit from the junk yard and put it on the one from my truck.

My exploder is already converted to Manual hubs...I just had one that wasnt unlocking due to the cheap plastic componet that stripped out and made the lockout selector just spin...Once that was replaced with a good piece all is well now..

...Your welcome...You must have just seen that thread real quick as it has all the info on your hubs (part#'s, etc.), including some info on swapping from auto to manuals.
