You know that when you change the height of the coils your gong to need an alignment right?

Anyway, how much are you looking to spend? Might want to check out ebay.

looking for about 50 after shipping and i already hit ebay and found some but hey im looking everywhere and yes i know i need an alignment...i need one as it is figureed i'd wait until after my lift and do it once versus twice

You can lift the front up to 'about' 2" before you can't get it aligned.

Your cheapest coil spring spacers for the front are actually f-150 spring spacers... also known as lower spring seats...

Junk yard is your best place to get them as ford has really raised the price on one of them..

You can find quite a bit of info on here about them..

im doing an soa setup in the rear and a ttb lift is outta my price range atm and so are lifted coils...money is a painw hen u dont have it for what u want...dang bills take it all lol but
yes...i've looked into it that way too im just covering all my options for it havent been to the junkyard yet...which years of f-150's had the spring seats

BTW, the SOA in the rear will give you a 4.5-5" of height. 2" spacers are still gonna give that Ex quite a rake.

I didn't see the SOA listed before. .

If you can't afford new coils and lift brackets for the TTB now, just save your money for now..

you can't do anything with the front to match the SOA without spending money for springs and brackets.. or springs and cut/turned beams.

looked into it and with my partial BL kit im going to do the sloped body lift with the soa in rear along with coil seats or spacers

I wonder if the rake would mess with the alignment???

well from what i read here and in other forums.... it wont...and it keeps it at the 2" ROUGH lift to avoid needing drop brackets with the sloped bl will give me close to 5 up front and the 5-5.5 (thats what i previously heard) in back giving it a slight rake...the only things ppl have commented about is the fuel gauge being very erratic going u0p and down some steeper hills lol it seems like a good cheap way to lift so i can fit 33's/35's

Ahh.. I always forget about body lifts.. as I never considered them.. But a sloped body lift would work. .But...

with that much slope in the suspension it will mess up the caster.. but the toe/camber will still be ok..

i always forget which is the caster???

Caster is the tilt of the balljoints from upper to the lower joint.. If the ball joints were right on top of each other that would be 0 caster.

ahh yes...well according to what i've read other places... it wont affect it beyond a normal alignment joba nd as i said i need one myself already but waiting until i replace ball joints and do the lift do u think this is a good idea or not? it seems stable and a cheap effective way to do it

By using SOA and spacers up front you will have a 3" difference height. That will decrease your caster. If your caster gets too low it will cause a twitchy front end and possibly a wierd wobble. Think of a wobbly shopping cart wheel.

In "theory", they can adjust caster some, but not all shops know how to do it.

yes... i've been told to call in advance and take it to a more 4x4 or offraod shop where they are familiar and make sure they have the needed parts to adjust it
