Looking for ideas

I have a 94 explorer and im looking for ideas to increase perfomance, i havnt done anything yet besides small maintenance to keep it running for a daily but ive grown to enjoy it so ive decided to make it look brand new with a twist. Any ideas are good..

From what I've heard/read, the 4.0 OHV is quite difficult to upgrade performance with. I think you cant get much more than 200hp before needing to upgrade some things in the bottom end. If you want some seat of your pants get up and go power, think about changing the differential gearing to 4.11.

Or go with Mike65's idea of the 5.0 v8 swap. It's always been a dream of mine...

Ive definitely thought about a coyote explorer because im not the biggest fans of mustangs and id love to see there faces getting gapped by an explorer, ive also thought about a big block swap
