Looking for oil pressure sensor.

My oil pressure gauge seems to be dropping and I'd like to change the sensor first before I do anything else. I've read conflicting reports on where the sensor is actually located on a my 1993 Ford Explorer 4.0 V6. Any help? Some pictures would be nice too. Thanks

Be careful here the oil pressure sensor to engine adapter is tapered and it over tightened can crack the block
The oil pressure sensor itself is not tapered just the adapter

Access is from the side by the tire or from underneath the truck

Good plan, mine has failed twice, and the oil pressure had slowly dropped over time beforehand.
