Yea, the 4.6L is the way to go!
I got one too and i love it!
They got good speed for a small v8
(although i wouldn't buy the 4.6L in an f-150, i think they are absolute dog slow, since it's alot heavier.)
Put some BFG Mud Terrains on that sucker, it will feel as sturdy as a tank when compared to the stock tires which make the SUV feel kinda wobbly and tilty when taking turns.
Those M/T's are excellent for snow too, since you have Independant Suspension.
Thanks! The tires that are on it now, are some all-season tires. I've never even heard of the name brand. They're in real good shape though. I figured that when winter rolls around, I'll get them studded. Come spring, I'll get some Michelin's or BFG's.
