My 2012 Explorer with the 2.0L gives a low engine oil pressure warning when it's really hot outside (like 100 degrees) and the vehicle has been running for a couple hours. The other day I was driving it on the interstate and I lost power suddenly and the warning light pop up. We went and ate at a local restaurant and after that, I was able to make the 20 mile drive home without issue. This past Friday similar thing happen. I can restart the engine after it happens but it will not stay running long. Oil level is good and oil is freshly changed. I have replaced the oil pressure sensor with no luck. The engine has 173,000 miles on it. Any ideals of what may be wrong?
