Lost 4 lo in trans swap

Changed to M5OD from A4LD in 90` Ranger and everything works except 4 lo. Trans is from 05`EX and this trans has no neutral safety swith, or even a place on passenger side to put the switch ??? I changed the ECM to a manual trans (90`-92`). Have read earlier posts regarding this and so far no luck. Got trans wiring harness from 92 ranger with neutral safety switch wires and tried splicing the two with no success. The 90` Ranger wiring diagrams for the manual trans I have don`t correspond with my truck. When I try 4X4 lo the light blinks, and stays in 4X4 HI. It worked before the conversion.

4X4 HI works
clutch switch works
back-up lights work

Any help from the experts would surely be appreciated. Thanx Rich

I'm having the same problem on my 92' Ex. Anybody know how to bypass the switch? The wires on mine were ripped off when I got it and the nss for a M5OD seems to be a dealer only item...
