Ok guys this is serious! I have a 94 xlt, 4 wheel drive. Nice truck still. Anywho, here we go.

I have replaced the rotors, the brake pads, the spark plugs, the egr tube, the plug wires, the O2 sensors and just finished the Mass Air Flow sensor. cleaned my K&n filter... Now it wont start at all.

I had it running this morning for like 20 seconds to see how it was running from a cold crank and started fine, 2 hours later i started it up to pull it into the garage and and it died, so i pushed the bad boy into the garage. Now there is nothing... it just doesnt fire or turn over. i have a battery charger on it now. cause it is dead from trying to start it. Any ideas?

it has been running like hell, that is why i am doing all this stuff.

Maybe a bad starter, are you hearing a clicking noise from the starter solenoid? You could try hitting it with a hammer or wood block. Also check your fuses and relays.

no clicking. just keeps trying to start, the engine just wont fire or start.

Would be curious if its getting fuel. Also verify your connections to your Mass Air Flow and O2 sensors. If there not plugged in you could have a problem.

Another idea is you what exactly did you do to your Mass Air Flow sensor? Did you happen to disconnect the battery and let the computer reset?

few things to check out (exceedingly basic stuff)

make sure your still getting spark and fuel. just push in on the fuel rail valve and make sure fuel squirts out. keep flames away of course. and then do the spark plug wire test to make sure your getting spark ( stick a screw driver in the plug socket and set it next to the block and make sure your sparking.

and when you say it keeps trying to start does that mean it's turning over but not sparking?

if not fuel make sure and listen for the pump turning on

just a few things i would check. and checking for codes would be good too.

good luck

I replaced the mass air flow sensor all together. Same with the O2's. I have not disconnect the battery?

I dont know where the fuel rail valve is?

Here are my codes.

116, 114, 116, 114,,,1,,,157, 158, 176, 332, 157, 158, 176, 332.

Sparking like 2 tiems after like 4 seconds of holding the starter on. a few shimmies and then it just sits there.

:)

i gotta run to an interview when i get back i will take a pic to show you.

if your at the front of the motor you want to follow the upper intake manifold down to where it bolts to the lower. and on the passenger side of the manifold look for a little valve that looks like a tire pressure valve. thats the one you check. and you just want to push in on the little stem in the middle of the valve. obviously a pressure guage would be better but at least you can make sure fuel is getting to the rail

ill getcha that pic in a couple hours

ok, for now i will go unhook the battery for a while
