Hey all,

Does anyone know the testing procedure on the brake fluid level switch in the master cylinder reservoir on 06 explorer ltd. My low brake fluid light came on with a full reservoir of brake fluid. Thanks

It could come on if your ebrake switch gets triggered and it is also tied into the antilock brake system.

Is it a two-wire switch? If so, unplugging the harness maybe turn the dash indicator light off. So that would help you at least eliminate the switch from the cause the light is on.

Well you should have a power wire, Ground and signal wire. I would start with a dummy light and see if you atleast have power top the sensor/switch.

three wires. You can try grounding the gray and yellow with the black. The switch works by grounding the two when it's low
