hey everyone i just replaced my fuel pump in my truck and when i got the tank back in and started it up it said it was in low range....... odd cuz i didnt put it in neutral or even come close to pushing the button when i parked it. the battery went dead and the windows were left open for 10 hours during a down pour so possibly that could be the problem. maybe something is shorting out somewhere? idk. but i honestly have no idea what the problem could be. if anyone has any ideas at all please help me out, i need the truck running right by tomorrow morning :(

If you are up against time, the direct thing to do is to pull the shift motor off the transfer case and manually put it in 2H. You can diagnose it later. Or you can reset the 4x4 computer, see the 4x4 diagnostics thread sticky in this sub-forum.
