lower ball joint 98 2wd coil sup

do i really have to change the lower control arm or is ther a way to change the ball joint

i believe only the uppers have to be replaced as an assembly. you should be good to go to do just the lower ball joints.


the ball joints are pressed it and with road grime and rust may seem like they are part of the arm.

they have ball joint install/removal tools avail but usually a big hammer will get them out
