Lower ball joint replacement.

Anyone done it?

Easy or hard? Can I do it with out the special tool?

i dunno if yours is like mine but i didn't need and special tools besides a BFH a fork

i will say that there was prolly some tool i shoulda used that i did not... cuz that was like the worst thing i have ever done to any car, lol.... i will definitely not do it myself next time
 






Just did the job, upper and lower ball joints. Took me about 3hrs total. Not too bad of a job really, just a lot of crap to pull out to get to the lower ball joint...ugh.
 






Did you use a pickle fork and a BFH? I'm gonna have to try to do this myself soon when I convert to 2WD.
 






I used a BFH to get the old one out and a BFH with a drift pin to get the new one in. You just need to hit it on the underside collar to get it to seat enough for the C-clip. About 15 minutes.
