hey everyone... i'm new to the site, and new to the explorer and rim game...
i been looking at everyones 3gen's and seen some beautiful trucks, either stock height on 24's or lowered on 22's... i just came into some money after i sold my 83 caprice on 24's (i had 24x9's with 255/35/24 tires). i used to live in trenton nj, and the roads were horrible... and somehow i never cracked or bent a rim... i just moved out to north carolina and the roads out here are beautiful... i dont even see potholes let alone hit them...
since i wanna still be a little flashy, i was thinking of putting some 24's on my 3gen 02 limited explorer v8... i'd like 24x10's this time for that tougher stance, but i also want to lower her with those ground force springs or whatever theyre called (mines 4x4 idk if that matters or not)... i dont mind throwing some rubberband tires on her since the roads are so nice, and im used to them already... does anyone know if this can be accomplished? also i have no idea what offset i should be going with to make this setup potentially work...
sorry for the paragraphs... and thanks so much in advance for everyones input...
Sincerely,
John B.
