I have a 98 explorer sport 2wd 5 speed, and I was wondering if anyone had tried to lower an explorer similar to mine before. If so, what did you do? bags? static? did you try to mount coilovers? did you swap from leaf springs to struts? I am just trying to get ideas right now. I hopefully will do it over the summer. Also I will be putting on wheels to add to the lowering because the stock wheels wouldn't look good on lower profile tires. what would be some good looking wheels on my all black explorer? It is all black lights tint wheels everything is black, and I would like to stick to that theme as much as possible.
