Lowering my 91 Exp 4X4

I have recently purchased a 1991 Ford Explorer 4DR 4WD. I want to lower it. I would like to know if anyone knows where I can get a kit, or if one exists. If there's not a kit... can someons tell me what all I would need to accomplish this. I don't have any knowledge of suspension so any help would be great!!

welcome to the site... may idirect you to the seriously lowered suspension forum of the site... how much are you looking to lower it and what will its use be.... considering that it is a boxy stle explroer it has fords ttb suspension, and this suspension is not capable of lowering any more than 2 inches because the oil pan will hit the driveshaft... there are a couple ways to deal with this, but it includes either selling your truck and getting a 4x2 or converting your truck to a 4x2 for an extreme amount of lowering......
