Went down to the dept. of transport to do my theory test and just mentioned I was in to get a cancelled license re-issued. Long story (45 minutes worth) short, no theory test, no eyesight test and no appointment for a practical driving test needed.....I'm officially back on the road!!!!!!! The only little bit of crook news is I do need to re-apply for my restricted motorcycle license and wait a year to get my open class but I don't particuly mind as Uma is ready and waiting! Yippy kye yay

Aahh...Hard to beat the satisfying taste of freedom. Quick trip 35 miles up the road to buy a chunky beef pie for lunch. The rat's have nibbled on the main wiring loom again so the flashing 4x4 high light is back but that's just a matter of finding the exposed wires and whacking on some electrical tape. All is good

Thank you kindly fella's!!! Yep I was quite surprised when they didn't ask me to take it (and wait until a practical assesment, whew!) The mob in the city I spoke to over the phone have been swearing black 'n' blue I was going to have to. After 40 minutes of buggering around on the computer it was photo time! I think I got away with something there but hell, I ain't complaining!!!

It's great to be able to go when I need to. I did my first shopping run for 3 month's this morning and stopped in at the folk's place on me way home for a visit, bloody marvelous!!!

I'll get this fourby issue fixed and try and get some good vid's to post, I'm just waiting for this suction cup phone holder thingy to rock up. Hong kong ebay special for $4.00...bargain!

Found the voltage (ampage? I alway's get the confused.) leak caused by the mouse. Managed to get a temporary band aid on it but will get me mates 12 yr old son to wrap it properly next time they come over, I just can't get me hand into that space. In the pic look for the green tape.

I've never had a problem with rats or mice chewing on the wiring yet I hear it all the time. Must not be a Utah problem.
