I hope Josh P sees this as he suggested that I start my own thread.

I'm about to install a M5OD-R1 into my Aerostar to replace the original A4LD, which died recently. I got the master cylinder for the Aerostar and not sure what kind of fitting it needs. Josh (and someone else) mentioned that they were able to build their own hoses using AN fittings. Can you give some details on that?

The slave cylinder side has a quick-connect fitting. Did you replace that as well?

thanks in advance

On the master cylinder side I used a russell performance clutch adapter fitting that fit early fords. I'm away from home for the next 2 weeks so I can't tell you the part number off the top of my head. I saved the package it came in. For the slave cylinder I used a 2005-10 mustang slave, it has a factory quick disconnect, the fitting for a T5 or T56 will work with it. Either 3AN or 4AN hose will work, the adapters are available in both sizes.
