MAF sensor

Is throttle body cleaner ok to clean the MAF sensor with? Or should I use something else like brake cleaner or what??

I guess ideally you would use MAF sensor cleaner but some people use throttle body cleaner or brake cleaner or just any electrical contact cleaner. I used electrical contact cleaner and it worked fine for me.
 






Don't use anything that leaves a residue. MAF cleaner or CDC Electronic Parts cleaner work OK.
 






I use rubbing alcohol and q-tips...works great!
 






i use intake cleaner or brake cleaner, which every i have on hand, like mentioned you dont want to use something that leaves a residue. some carb cleaners will leave a residue so dont use them
