I was tired of looking at that ugly looking tail pipe so I ordered a new tip and had it welded on today.
If you are interested in doing this, the tip is from Magnaflow part #35138
2.5" inlet 3" outlet, 45 degree slash cut polished stainless steel. I ordered from Summit Racing and it was delivered the next day. $39.88 free shipping and $25.00 to have a muffler shop weld it on. I wish they would have angled it upward slightly to follow the original tail pipe, but they made it level with the ground instead, It's OK, far better than that rusty stock one.
The original plan was to have it mounted sticking out the back, but by cutting the corner bend off they were able to remove more of the rusty pipe and angle it out the side. It looks like it sticks way out, but it's pretty flush with the body panels. FYI: 4.0 V6
