Manual 1st gen guys help out

Okay this has been driving me a little nuts since I got rid of my 1st gen but did anyone else have a problem with the clutch not disengaging the cruise control mine did it on some acassion and didn't on others the 2nd gen that we owned that was manual no problem

Don't think so still had to press the pedal to start it, or to put it 4lo
