I have a 92 Explorer and alway have to put fluid in the clutch resiovor I keep losing the pedal. I put a new master cylinder on it because I lost the pressure totally. It help for about a month and know the same thing. Weird thing is all I do is put new fluid in it. No need for bleeding. I dont have any idea whats going on.

Mine did the same thing you need to replace your Slave cylinder. Might as well do the clutch while the tranny is out. here is a great write up on how to do it.

Slave cylinder. Look around the bottom of the bellhousing and see if you see any fluid leaking out.
