Map light

Hello I have a 04 XLT with the sunroof and map light overhead comsole setup, there are a couple dead spiders in the map light housing I was wondering if anyone had experience taking this apart so I can clean up the interior for the ladies

That style dome light should unhook on the windshield side and will swing down and toward the inside of the car on hinges. Definitely a good idea as those spiders can get pretty scary! If you can't get it by hand I recommend a plastic trim tool (harbor freight) to pry that side free, or if you're feeling daring a flat head screwdriver will do the trick
