mesh grille

has anyone cut out the middle part of their grille and replaced it wish a wire mesh? If so can someone give me some clue on how to do this... thanks

Paint that stuff behind the grill black, or put the plastic cover back in. It will look much better

BTW, you sprayed the mesh and such so it won't rust out on you, right?

this weekend i was planning on removing it and priming and painting it and also painnting the inside... this is only the "base"
