is it worth it and would you do it again?


I read a few how-tos but wanted to get opinions of those who have done it.

do all the readouts work.

also I cant seem to find one for a 97 xlt. I suppose ill resort to a junkyard if nothing else.

these are the same from 95-97, correct?

I think it was worth it. If you have some electrical skills you shouldn't have any trouble. Only things on mine that dont work are the instant mpg and the oil level/temp feature(would need to replace the oil pan). Not sure why my instant mpg don't work but i can get it if i constantly reset the average mpg.

same, my oil level, and oil temp do not work (nor do the light out, but i have hid's, so it wouldn't work anyway). would i do it again? i cant say yes or no. i just wanted a lot of options for my truck, and sports never had these. if you want to do this, i have one from a 95-97 truck with the harness, that had a OHV in it, but i think it doesn't have lamp out module (i cut it out by mistake)
