Mini K&N Breather on oil filler ('95)

I'm thinking of adding a K&N mini-breather on the oil filler vent hose and plugging the other end of the hose as it enters the large main air tube to prevent fumes from being reused in the throttle body. Anybody know if this will screw things up?
