Every time I punch it my dog sits up in the back. So I thought I would give this a try. I can tell it helped some but I am sure it was only a small difference. Although the dog really appreciates it! (sarcasm)
I used One can of rubber coating and sprayed the outside of the spare tire tub, then used 10sqft of Deadening Mat to line the inside of the tub. You have to use a roller, they are cheap and worth it. And while I was at it I did inside the engine cover with some high temp material. It did help to quiet down the engine noise a little. After I installed the Mat on the engine cover I laid it upside down on the dryer while it ran just to help it cure before I installed it. Be careful of the stems that hold the insulation on, broke one removing the round clip. But was able to Super glue it back together.
I know this didn't do much, but needed a project and feel like the small differences were worth it.

Sometimes I just wanna pop open the door panels and empty a can of spray foam in there :D

Haha, right! Recently took the door panel off to disconnect the keypad that failed (so I could get the tailgate to work again) and it crossed my mind while the panel was off!!

perhaps on a more serious note, maybe stuffing or padding in some sound insulation batting to the doors couldn't hurt as long as the clearance is assured for windows?

Make sure whatever you put in there is also waterproof. ;)
